  • Re: Flights to Ft. Lauderdale

Hi Victoria, I agree with everyone else. I would book the early flight. I've cruised out of Fort Lauderdale and although the cruise port is only 2 miles from the airport, by the time you deboard the plane, get your luggage and grab a cab, it could be near 11am. Most of the time they start boarding people around noon so you can go ahead ...

  • Re: Salt Water Pools

The pools are great, but it is ocean water so very salty!! They do have showers, as mentioned before, so you can rinse it off as soon as you get out.

  • Re: Stateroom Location

Hi antoine89, I don't think you will have any trouble. We stayed right under the lounge on the Legend a couple of years ago and didn't have any trouble. Most of the time we were in the lounge, but even when they played until 1am, no worries. I was also under the dining room on the Imagination several years back. No noise at all. ...

  • Re: Credit, cash or debit?

Hi Kali, It just depends on what works best for you. I personally like to put my s&s account on a credit card and then go pay cash the last night of the cruise. I've never had any trouble doing it this way and if for some reason I don't get down to the concierge to pay cash, I just leave it on the card. Makes for a worry free ...

  • Re: Is this true, Pools close while in Port

Hi Caretta,   I wouldn't say the pools are freezing cold, but they are chily. The pools are usually drained and refilled daily with ocean water so it is salty and if the water is fresh, it can be cold at first!

  • Re: Sea Days or Port Days ??

I agree with everyone else. I love the days at sea because all you have to do is get up, grab a chair on deck and be waited on hand and foot. I enjoy the ports, but the ship is so great and just as much fun! When I asked my husband where he wanted to go on the next cruise he said he didn't care because he wasn't getting off the ...

  • Re: What's your favorite cruise?

I was there back in 2007 and it was when ships first started stopping in Roatan. There was no cruise port, just a pier, but it looked like they were starting to build a building and other stuff right at the pier. I loved the untouched beauty of this island. I know it will become a popular cruise port and soon change. Diving and snorkeling is ...

  • Re: Carnival Raised My Price!!

I agree with jks336, if you didn't request the upgrade, then there is no reason you should be paying the difference. Get your PVP on the phone (if you had one) and make sure you get this taken care of! Now, if you requested the upgrade, then you would have to pay the difference, otherwise, no.

  • Re: iPhone on a cruise?

Hi trat, My brother-in-law took his IPhone on the cruise we went on last year and he almost never got a signal and couldn't use his phone much at all. I had a regular flip phone and my phone worked the entire time. If you have unlimited roaming there are no roaming charges. Phone calls are $2.49 a minute from the ship on AT&T. Texting is ...
