  • Shuttle from ship in Nassau

I can't remember who asked, but there is a free shuttle from the ship to the port entrance and back.  It is run by the Bahamian Coast Guard.  We gave the driver a tip for being so nice. Eileen

  • Re: Freeport Bahamas

[quote user="Taters"] The best place to shop in Freeport is at the Port Lucaya Marketplace.  It is accross the street from the casino too if you want to throw away even more money! lol.  Actually I came out of there $20 up.  Also in the marketplace is a greek restaurant called Zorba's that has great gyros.  ...

  • Re: Hurricane Season Update

[quote user="BarbadosPRPro"] Gosh. I wish I could join the frivolity of this discussion, but unfortunately (for me I guess) I had to go into New Orleans' lower 9th Ward for a community meeting today.  This Saturday marks the fourth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina and we're still trying to work our way back onto the ladder ...

  • Re: irons/ironing boards

Well all the laundry is done, folded and sitting on the spare bed.  Suitcases are loaded with all the misc. stuff, passports and fun pass in outside pocket of carry on, with our drinks.  So for the next 2 days, all I have to do is get my nails done and go see me Granddaughter on thursday....yea.  Eileen
