  • Re: Lido Deck Rooms

How much did you have to pay for the upgrade?  Did you get any onboard credits?

  • Re: July 2 Roll Call For Fascination :)

My husband really wants to go on the seawold explorer excursion - it's just the two of us (in our 50's - no kids).  I read that you were going to do it.  What did you think?  Couldn't find anyone else on the carnival connections that had done it - so am a little concerned.  If just you and other adults had done the ...

  • Re: So what exactly are the Monkeyheads?????

So, I'm still not sure what the advantage is to having the monkeyhead coconut.  On our past cruises, I saw people with them and just thought they wanted a souviner.  But now that I've read "cruise talk", I think that there is something more to it.  Please explain. Thanks, Paige

  • Re: how do you save for your cruise???

Wait just a minute!  My husband and I have that nasty habit, too (smoking).  So, you save your bar codes and send them WHERE?  HOW?  WHO?  OH MAN!  We've just thrown away about a gillion empty packs.  Please advise.  Paige

Older folk - We are right there with you. I read that you got special cruises because you protected our freedom - thank you.  Do they still do that for VETs?  What a good thing.  I hope they still do.  Is there a website or something where people can donate money for the cause?  Paige

  • Re: conquest supper club

Well, I guess we'll be going to the Supper Club - thanks everyone.  I guess what I was thinking is that we have already paid for the meals so why pay more.  If we were going to a "land" dinner, I realize that $60.00 would barely get us in the door.  So, is the 15% tip automatically added to the bill like the bars, ...

  • conquest supper club

We are interested in the supper club but don't know if it is worth the price - at LEAST $30.00 pp.  We've enjoyed the reqular dining.  But if there isn't any live music or dancing... and will be charged extra $45.00 for the caviar...extra for wine...Is extra tipping involved?  When we've arrived on the Conquest other ...

  • Re: Roll Call July 12, 2009 CONQUEST

My husband and I are going 7/12/09, too.  I'm off for the summer and have been looking/reading the Carnival Connections everyday for hours at a time.  I can't get enough.  We've been on the Conquest 3 times - excited about seeing the updates.  It's not an anniversary/birthday but we're going anyway.  We ...

  • Re: Just got back from Eastern Caribbean. Any questions?

I've been reading that the Aquaventure is totally worth the price but it just seems awfully steep to me.  Did you go to the casino, too?  Were there any really special shopping deals that you got in any of the three places?  How was the weather?  My husband and I went on the Conquest last summer and the one before that - we ...
