we'll be following you from northeast indiana, ladybug.  looks to be about a 16 hour drive...looking forward to it though.  the drive BACK, not so much looking forward to.  lol.  can't wait to get out of town though.  can't come fast enough :)

i know this subject has been beat to death, but do you have to buy a card for the duration of the trip or can you just buy the card for certain days?  like when we're at ports i probably won't be drinking much on the boat and we're packing bottled water to take to excursions...  either way i'll probably just get the card ...

for hotels you HAVE to pay up-front.  when you're filling out your "offer" page you have to put in your credit card info.  if they accept your price, they charge your card immediately.  but you get to narrow it down to the area you want to stay in and how many stars or higher of a hotel you want to stay in.

i've been looking for a good rate in a good area for our one night before we leave on the fantasy (new orleans) and after seeing this thread i hopped over to priceline to check it out...ended up getting a night at the mariott convention center for 60 bucks.  not bad at all!  had to pay up front but i'd rather get all my expenses ...

my wife would pummel me before i got close to the rails, no matter how much i had to drink.  and if i see anyone climbing the rails i'll be pummeling them as well. use the buddy system i guess o__0

there wouldn't be an issue with me bringing energy drinks, correct?  same thing, i just need less of them through the day ;)  i can't live without a monster a day :(

after much searching i found this site: http://www.nocruiseshipparking.com/index.htm  it's a minimal price difference though and i'd rather leave it at the actual port... but if you want to save a few dollars...go for it :)

my wife and I will be on this cruise, just the two of us :) our first, very excited!  just hoping we don't forget anything lol.
