  • Re: "Reasonable" amount of soda???

I asked this question as well and finally just emailed  Carnival to ask them directly.  I was needing to take bottled water on board for an infant.  I carried 24 bottles of water.  When I asked Carnival what the definition of "reasonable" was the representative replied that the amount of beverages brought on board is ...

  • Re: carry on lugage

We just got back from our cruise on the Holiday.  We boarded the ship at 11:30 and was told that our rooms would not be ready until 1:30.  They had the corridors to the staterooms closed off with doors that were locked so there was no way to access your room any earlier.  We checked most of our luggage and only kept our immediate ...

  • Re: Cruising with an INFANT- Am I crazy???

We are back from our first cruise.  I am happy to report that all went well.  I felt very prepared.  Our schedule was a little different than most cruisers due to traveling with an infant but we expected that. We arrived at the terminal at about 10:30 am.  I am glad we arrived early because we were quick through the ...

  • Re: Getting off and back on while in port?

We go to Cozumel first.  Arrive at 8 am and leave at 6pm.  Then the next day Calica.  Arrive at 7am and leave at 5pm. About the snorkel gear.... Buy the kind that you find at like Walmart in the swim section?  Are there that many fish to see right off the beach?  I was thinking I would take a dip in the ocean but the ...

  • Re: Getting off and back on while in port?

How soon can you get off the ship? One day we port at 8 am and then next we port at 7 am.  We are early birds.... and we are traveling with an infant so early is better for us. We are wanting to go to the beach one morning and want to go early and then come back to the ship around 11am - then I would stay on board with the baby and dad and ...

  • Getting off and back on while in port?

If we get off first thing in the morning, can we get back on for lunch and then get off again for the afternoon? Is it a come and go policy or once you are off - you are off until you are back on?

  • Re: Questions for terrible 2's cruise?

I also asked the pool question and got blasted.  I also didnt realize that the pools were saltwater and nonfiltered.  But someone offered a great solution for us.  We are bringing a small blow up pool.  I found a single ring inflatable pool at Walmart for $5.  Its VERY small.  Just enough room to sit and splash and ...

[quote user="lwolfson"] [quote user="irishlizz"] [quote user="Sparkie"] I do think that the Carnival website needs to make the information about the small children not being allowed in the pools more clear.  Its in there but you have to look for it and for someone who is a first timer there is ...
