like don k said any ship will be good ,since you have a large group call up carnival and ask about the group discount they offer to save a little money...and it all depends on how many days you want to cruise to get you price you have in mind,,since you live in chicago,,,florida is your best bet,so many ships to choose from and the best rates in ...

i don't read books,,but my 12 year old loves to read books ,she told me to to give her some gift cards for christmas to books stores as part of her gift list,,,she loves the twilight books now,,but she always reading on her down time....

i was thinking of doing the disney tour when i cruise the pride next year,,but at 150 per person sounds a bit high and it's 6 of us i have to pay for,,it includes shuttle to and from disney and tickets.....or should i rent a car for that day?????

when i was on the destiny ,they also had breakfast and lunch in the main dinning room,which we took advantage of,,,i like to eat in restaurants as much  as i can,,in the main land,,your going to pay a good penny the eat at a good place,,here you can be spoiled  for all meals and don't worry about prices,,,main dinning so ...

you know what if there was a time share that was giving away a free carnival cruise,,i might just do it,,even if i had to sit there with the sour face,,because i won't buy the timeshare.-----lol...

i agree with kathy and ken ,people need to sit tight and relax at the lido deck,,most people wait months to go on their cruise so what's a couple more hours to wait for your room to be just right for you,,your on the ship already just relax and get it vacation mode and have fun.......

besides the bottles of wine-you can also bring some bottle water with you and cans of soda pop if you like--they also allow that on the ship if you wish.....

i agree with another post,which ever is cheaper--on this upcoming cruise were on the empress deck--and i'm going to book a balcony the following..i already had oceanview and inside cabins,,i'm just happy to be cruising...

good luck with anytime dinning,we like late dinning so we have more time at the ports if we choose...
