  • Re: Just some Newbie Questions

     1. The Soda Card- Do they charge your S&S card daily? Or is it a flat fee when you get it? Also do you pay the gratuity per use or just %15 of the daily fee? Flat fee. I believe it's $7 which includes the 15% gratuity 2. I've heard a lot of people talking about Chair hogs. Are there not enough chairs or is it just the ...

  • Re: Going on Glory 03/21/2010?!

Hi Jessica, I responded - I think - directly to your email. We'll see if it comes through! We're already excited about March. It's still a long ways away. Plenty of time to plan! Lisa

My husband and I are booked on that cruise! This is our second cruise (we loved the first!) and our first 7-day cruise. Any idea what you're going to do in those ports?

  • Re: CARNIVAL SENSATIONS ENTERTAINMENT!

Yes, you can take pictures on the Sensation. However, you are not allowed to take them during the shows. No outside movie screen or sliding roof. The Sensation doesn't have all the amenities as some of the larger/newer ships. However, we sailed on her in September and had a wonderful time. It had everything we needed.

Look under the Sensation forum. There's some recent reviews there including one I posted. We went on 9./20 and had a fabulous time. If you have any specific questions just let me know!

  • Excursion suggestions - Western Caribbean

Does anyone have excursion suggestions for the Western Caribbean? We'll be going on the Legend with ports in Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize, and Roatan. This is only our second cruise so we're still new. Because of this we'll probably mostly stick to the Carnival excursions. My husband uses a cane so very long walks and anything too ...

  • Carnival Glory or Carnival Legend?

We are interested in cruising in March. I like the itinerary for the Western Caribbean. Trying to decide between the Glory and the Legend. Prices are comparable for both. Seems like the Glory carries more people (more crowded?) and the Legend is longer (further to walk?). for those who have been on these ships, Preferences? ...

  • Re: sofa in ov cabin??

We sailed a few weeks ago. OV cabin on the Main deck. No sofa. Beds, straight back chair and bench at the vanity. But the room was fine!

  • Travel Guard Insurance

Has anyone ever taken out this policy or used it? I heard that if you buy it within 14 days of making your initial deposit then the pre-existing condition clause is waived. (unlike the travel insurance through Carnival). I would love to book the early saver rate, but due to medical reasons it scares me being locked in. If I take out the travel ...

  • Re: 2 Questions

The Yellowbird is definitely casual! Swimsuits and coverups will be just fine. They do have restrooms there too if you want to change there, but really swimsuits/coverups were fine. I took a beach bag with my towels and sun block. The island is great. Small, very pretty. We actually didn't even explore but just laid on the beach or swam. You ...
