  • Re: Special Diets

I posted what happened to us on our June Legend cruise under gluten free. We did not have a good experience as you can read for yourselves. We did contact the company when we booked 10 months in advance and faxed the special needs form in 6 months in advance.  The special needs dept even called us about 2 months in advance.  Still when ...

  • Re: Traveling with infants & toddlers....

We just got back from Legend on 6/28.  We saw lots of people with infants. There was one next door to us and we noticed that Carnival provided a crib. As the previous person indicated they do not allow diapers at pool. An employee even asked someone to remove their infant who had one on when we were in pool. There is a kid's pool which ...

  • Re: Parking at Tampa

Just a few weeks ago we stayed at Holiday Inn Express at Rocky Point. There is a Hampton Inn right next door. They both offer free shuttle service to pier and back. Plus you can leave your car in their lot for free while you are gone. Everything worked out great for us. We just called them after we had collected our luggage and they were ...

They said she ...

  • Re: Dietary restriction for Celiac Disease

Hey, I live in Michigan City also!! My daugher has celiac and we will be travelling on the Legend this month on the 21st. I have read celiac boards and they say Carnival is good about this.  We contacted the guest services department when we made the reservation. They sent me forms to fill out and return. • Luggage

Hi,   I saw the luggage restrictions and wonder for those you have sailed recently (we are going on Legend out of Tampa) if they actually weigh your luggage like airlines do. Thanks!

  • Re: Special Diets

I am so glad you posted this. We are going on Legend on June 21st.  I have heard that Carnival does a good job with food allergies but when it is for my daughter I always get nervous. She must eat gluten free. We went on Princess 2 years ago and they were fantastic. Sounds like we will have the same experience on the Legend. Thanks again for ...
