Just a question, and probably a day or two premature, but has anyone actually received the 50% refund Carnival promised?

This may just be bad memory, but I can't think of a time I have sailed on Carnivalout of New Orleans and a Coast Guard Helicopter didn't fly by or around the ship.  The helicopter that flew by was there for a very short period of time and didn't appear, IMHO, to be searching for anyone.

If it's anything like a Pub crawl, it sounds like my cup of tea, so to speak.

As a point of reference, the cat 11s are  usually the size of a small hotel room and the cat 12s are about the size of a large hotel room.  The bathroom is much larger with a whirlpool tub.  On the Triumph, the cat 12s have a seperate counter in the bathroom area my wife claimed as magical makeup land.  We also had a stocked ...

They had Karaoke in the rear lounge as usual and also by the casino bar.  I didn't see much of the Karaoke in the lounge, but the singers by the casino were really good.
