I just got back today from the Aug 1 - 6 cruise to Canada. We lucked out - the weather was very nice. Some fog and one cold day but good overall. All the pools and the waterslide were open. The hot tubs were all closed, which was disappointing. This was our first cruise, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Do they serve lunch at 1/1:30? We're also going to be at the boat at 11 am and hope to get on early. Thanks!

I'm going on the Aug. 1 cruise to Halifax and St. John. This is my first cruise, and I'm trying to decide whether to book the excursions through Carnival or on my own. Is there any benefit to booking through Carnival? I assume it's more expensive. On the other hand, my father is slightly disabled so I thought it might be easier for him ...

I'll be doing the Canada cruise on Aug 1. Is it warm enough to lay out in bathing suits during the day? If not, what do you do? Guess you can tell I've never cruised before...
