  • Has anyone tried to bring beer on board?

I know that Carnival's policy is "one bottle of wine or champagne per person over age 21"...but I have heard that they really don't check or care.  I am wondering has anyone tried to bring beer on board?  If so, has it been an issue?

  • Re: Is anyone else taking their honeymoon on the Pride?

I was thinking about this too...but I am getting the impression that it's hard to get a table for two.  I will probably try, but I think it needs to be done like as soon as you get on board the ship.  If it doesn't work out I will try and see if we can at least get a private table at the Supper Club for one night.

  • Re: Is anyone else taking their honeymoon on the Pride?

Thanks for the well wishes!  Our wedding already happened (last summmer actually- my husband is in the Army and he couldn't get enough leave to do our wedding and honeymoon at the same time so we had to wait) and it was perfect!  It's not really traditional...but in a way it worked out better because we had more time to ...

  • Is anyone else taking their honeymoon on the Pride?

I was just wondering if anyone else is taking their honeymoon on the Pride?  It seems like there are a lot of families going for their summer vacations, but I haven't seen anyone post about a honeymoon.  We have never cruised before so we really have no idea if the Pride tends to be more of a family-oriented boat than a ...

  • What to do in Nassau?

I have been reading some posts about Nassau, and some people are saying that it is not a very nice stop.  From your experience, what is the best thing to do in Nassau?  Is there anything to do on your own on the island?  Or would it be better to do an excursion?  If so, which one?    Thanks!

  • Balcony Question

My husband and I booked a balcony room on the "Panorama" deck, which I guess is the highest deck with lodging.  I am wondering if there is an awning on the balcony?  I feel like it would be a little wierd if people on the upper decks could just look over the side of the ship and see you trying to relax in private.  I ...

  • What are the prices like at the bar?

My husband and I are taking our first cruise on July 10.  We are wondering how expensive the alcoholic drinks tend to be.  Is it like going to an average restaurant?  Or do they jack up the prices?  Any information you have would be appreciated, we are trying to plan how much money to bring for the extras.  Thanks!

  • Re: July 10th 2009 ROLL CALL

My husband and I will be on this cruise for our honeymoon.  I've never been on a cruise before so I'm sorry, I have no idea how VIP check in works.  Have you cruised with Carnival before?  Is there anything I should know before we go that isn't already on the website?

  • What exactly is included?

I have been looking all over the Carnival website to find out what exatly is included in the total cost of a cruise.  I am finding that some meals are included, some are not, and you need to buy a special card in order to drink anything?  Can someone who has cruised with Carnival before tell me exactly what is and what is not ...
