    Have not been in the room, but you are in the aft. It is on the back of the ship. You have a balcony that you can go out and see who is following the ship.

    I can not say for sure but I don't think they are. Your ship and sail card will also serve as your room key and they are coded electronicially.     I would recommend the Courtyard by Marriott downtown. Very good hotel at a reasonable price for downtown Miami. Not going to find anything less than $100 in down town area which is close to the port. The cheaper hotels are away from the port by the airport or toward Ft. Lauderdale.
