  • Re: Tell us: Where to stay in Jacksonville and what to do

I HIGHLY recommend the Jacksonville Zoo. We went the day that we returned from our cruise. It was much bigger than I have thought. They have tons of animals. Some I had never seen before. The only thing I didn't like about the zoo was the price of the food. OMG! It was outragous! We each bought kid's meals and still spent over $20. We ...

  • Re: Doing a day on your own in Nassau, Bahamas?

Senor Frogs is on the beach, but I don't think there is beach access from the resturant. It kind of sits up over the water. There is a beach behind it, but I don't think you can get to it from Senor Frogs. Please correct me if I am wrong! We didn't actually visit Senor Frogs, but did walk passed it and saw no beach access.

Actually, it wasn't too bad. We had plenty of room for all of our luggage and to walk around. You can make more room if you put down the bed that is over the king bed instead of the one across from it. Since your husband isn't going, you could probably just put both of your girls in the kind bed with you. Have fun on your cruise!

  • Re: Review of May 2nd Fascination Cruise

I have to agree with you about the Maitre' D. We NEVER saw him. I remember with our last cruise, he would come around and introduce himself. Not on this cruise. We didn't leave a tip for him either. Our waiter in the dining room wasn't great either. But the food WAS! We enjoyed every bite. The cheesecake wasn't as creamy as I would ...

  • Halloween Celebration on Fascination ?

We are leaving on 10/31. I am wondering if the ship will be having a Halloween celebration since Halloween is the day that we set sail. Any past Halloween cruisers? Thanks!

We have decided that we will be booking this cruise some time in the next couple of weeks. I am still wondering if they will do anything to celebrate Halloween since it is on the day we set sail.

  • Re: Review of May 2nd Fascination Cruise

We were on the same cruise. I was also surprised that there weren't many kids at Camp Carnival. It was actually a relief for me, since my oldest son (4-years old) doesn't do well with larger groups. He had a blast. My youngest son would not stay, so he usually ended up coming along with us. We did get him to stay twice while he was ...
