  • Re: You're no longer Welcome Home

Awww, man! I was hoping to use the Welcome Home from my upcoming September cruise to book a January cruise for my birthday. They don't actually offer discounts on cruise purchases while onboard do they?

  • Late excursions

I'm going to Cozumel in September and our time in port is 1pm-10pm. I am looking at booking excursions and am frustrated that most excursions are before 2pm. All of the excursions over 3 hours that I've seen leave before noon, so they are automatically eliminated. Most of the snorkel tours do their last run for the day at 2. This would ...

  • Re: Buying Rx meds in Cozumel - Any problems?

Steph, I don't have any answers for you, sorry, but I'm interested in other peoples input. Is buying medicine in Mexico legal? My boyfriend takes medicine that costs about $10 a day with his insurance discount, so any way to save would be a relief. Any other issues, info or cautions? Thanks!

  • Past Guest discount on future cruise

I am sailing in September for my boyfriend's birthday and am thinking about booking for my birthday in January as well. I read somewhere that you get a discount if you book while you are on the cruise or within the first few weeks you are back. Anyone know about this? Also, I haven't been able to see any Past Guest rates on Carnival's ...

  • Closing times

I just looked at our itenerary and the time in Cozumel is 1pm to 10pm. How late do the shops close? If we book a beach resort excursion, will we be able to stay until we need to head back to the ship? Won't the longer excursions, like the Tulum ruins tour which is 7 hours, be hindered by lack of daylight? I was caught off guard because I ...

  • Carry on luggage

The Carnival website says that in many ports, you can carry on all your luggage. Anyone know if Miami is one of those? My boyfriend and I will probably just bring a medium sized duffel bag each which should fit within the 16"x24" restrictions. Also, do we need to bring beach towels or is there a towel hut at the pool? Thanks!

  • Re: Sept 21,2009-Sept 25, 2009

My boyfriend and I are! His birthday is Sept. 28, but that cruise was booked at the lower price, so we're celebrating early.

  • Cruising in September

I was just looking for any input on cruising in September to Mexico. What is the weather usually like? Can we expect the cruise to be less full? Will there be less children? We are cruising to Key West and Cozumel September 21-25. Thanks!

  • Dining while in port

This may sound silly, but I've never cruised Carnival before and just wanted to be sure that dining is still available on board while the ships are docked. My boyfriend and I are cruising in September and want to make sure that if the weather is bad in Cozumel, we will still be able to get lunch somewhere. Thanks!
