This is really a great idea....we used a pair of Motorola (21 mile range) on our cruise on the Glory in September. Worked perfectly, and no other traffic on the channel I happened to pick. What a week.....the crew was so friendly and helpful....the food was great....the ship was clean....the entertainment was fantastic....could not ask for anything better.
