  • Re: How does Galveston look now?

The parking lot areas (like Lighthouse) were very slum looking & kinda scarey for me.  I parked there from June 27-July 2.  Everything went well with parking there though.

  • Re: Park N Cruise

Seems all of my family used Park N Cruise except me, who went with Lighthouse.  They were all together at embarkation and took a fabulous photo with me & son.  Lighthouse was in a not so great area, although most of Galveston looks like a ghost town - at least the parking lots do.  Everything was fine with all cars in both lots.

  • Re: Worried about Getting sick

I got back from my first cruise last week and didn't get sick at all.  I purchased those wristbands but got a refund for them.  We only had 1 day where it was a little bit choppy.  However......I'm still a little dizzy right now after being home for 5 days.  I went to the Dr. and got a prescription but it's not ...

  • Re: June 27, Ecstasy late to port

I, too, was on the June 27th Ecstasy cruise - our first one & boy was embarkation crazy.  We had to stand in line both outside & inside for what seemed like hours & hours.  They wouldn't let anyone on board till 5 p.m. & we didn't get on until 6:30 p.m.  Went to room at 7 p.m. and luggage was waiting ...

  • Re: Cell Phone?

Thanks for the fast respose, cmcalico.  I guess I needed to state that both me & son have Tracfones and we wanted to text each other to meet up at a certain time or in case of emergency.  Tracfone's website says there's no service in Mexico so us calling each other on the ship won't work at all.  You can call from ...

  • Re: Now confirmed.......

My momma always said that bad things happen in 3's.     I'm a music teacher & loved Michael Jackson as much as Elvis.  They were terrific performers & lit up the stage with energy & fabulous singing.  They were loved the whole world over. Farah at 62 and Michael at 50 - way too ...

  • Re: THE TIME OF MY LIFE!!

That's great to hear because I sail in 2 days - leaving June 27th.  I, too, am a single parent who gets no child support so I had to save & save & save for this cruise.  My child will celebrate a birthday at sea - how cool is that?!?  I'm kinda stressed out right now with all the packing & planning & ...

  • Re: Need Help! Unable to decide, drive or hotel?

I'm traveling from Arlington & was going to get a hotel the night before.  I have family that lives in Angleton so I'll be spending the night with them to save some money.  Yippee!!  I, too, don't want to chance having car problems on the way & being rushed the day of departure - afaid I'd turn into a ...

  • Cozumel beaches

I intially wanted to do Mr. Sancho's beach (not a CCL excursion) but I've recently changed my mind to Paradise Beach (not a CCL excursion).  Paradise looks to have so much more for kiddos but you cannot book on-line.  It's free entrance; $10 of food = beach chair; $10 for all water toys; super clean facility.  Has anyone ...
