When we are somewhere that doesn't have easy and cheap internet service, I have my kids or co-worker check us in and then just reprint the boarding pass when we get to the airport.

Good idea Walt. I would call it a "Meet and Greet from Carnival Connections" otherwise people might get confused with the other meet and greet.

After the first posting of cabin numbers at the beginning of a roll call, we just emailed the numbers to our group. This gave us the opportunity to drop things in the "mail box" outside the door or to call on the phone.
It definitely was one of the highlights of the cruise.
