I was unable to get a signal on the ship, but whenever we would dock, I would make my calls then.  Just be aware of how long you are on the phone.... can get expensive.  I have an international plan, thanks to work.  But just a caution for you to think about.

I did google "cozumel street map". I wouldn't have posted if I hadn't already looked.  But I shall try again.

What about soda and/or beer?

We're wanting to do things that are not organized excurions.  We'd just like to walk around the towns and shop at local stores and people watch.  Has anyone been to these cities who knows if there are things to do without participating in the excursions?
