  • Re: Has anyone sailed on the Legend?

We got back from our cruise on the Legend on April 5, 2009, and have booked another one for December 2009 with our daughter and son-in-law.  The staff was wonderful, the food was excellent, and the ports were worth seeing again.  We enjoyed talking with staff members in different areas of the ship.  They were gracious ...

  • Re: Ports

Roatan - we went in March 2009 on the Legend, and are going again Dec. 13.  Roatan and Grand Cayman were definitely our favorites.  We went on a snorkeling excursion, but when we returned found that there is a rather new shopping area right adjacent to the dock in Roatan.  Many other people have posted that there are also ...

  • Re: balcony or oceanview stateroom? which is better?

Where did you get the information that the balcony room is slightly smaller?  The ship we were on, both were 185 sf.  Difference is that with the balcony you have more room to spread out - and the breeze and view are appreciated.   Enjoy your cruise - a vacation is a wonderful thing!

  • Re: Roll Call for Dec 13, 2009

We too will have a hard time waiting.  Just booked this morning for my husband and I, our (will be then) 21 year old son, 22 year old daughter and son-in law.  We just got off the boat 4/5/09 and were ready to get back on.   So ready!  (Fortunately it is nice here in Oregon today - but we will REALLY enjoy 80 ...

  • Re: Dressing provocatively

When we cruised on the Legend last month, people wore bathrobes over their shorts or dresses.  Most of the guys had shirts on too.  It gets pretty warm so most robes were open and loose.  Most people just wore their regular clothes.

  • Re: Twister/Isla Pasion Question

Good morning, Bob.  Have a wonderful time on your cruise - we did! There is a large storage compartment in the very front of the Twister boat where they suggest (actually insist is a better word) that all items be stored.  If you carry anything you want to keep dry or safe you will be glad to have complied!  Be prepared ...

  • Re: Legend Balcony Door Question-Important!!

We just got off the Legend on Sunday, April 5.  The door to our balcony had a deadbolt just under the handle, and a sliding lock just above my head height (so around 5'6" or so).  The door required strong pushing to open - and I normally (but not on the cruise!) work out with weights several times a week. My ...

  • Re: Happy Spring ! ! !

Thank you so much for evoking the pleasant images (and the picture is cute too).  Here in Oregon the daphne is in bloom, and the camellias are starting to do their thing.  So glad!
