  • Re: Back from 1st cruise

I agree about the fan. I took one on the Holiday cruise as well, and it came in really handy.  It was a small one with fabric blades, but it pretty much goes wherever I go. I am cruising the Conquest in January, and because I live in Houston I don't have to worry about baggage limitations on the airlines.  I am glad to hear that the ...

  • Re: Back from 1st cruise

I cruised on the Holiday in June with my grown daughter. Great cruise, great staff. I took one of the shoe bags and it and the power strip were the best things I brought. Kept things up and out of the way. Our room stayed very neat.

My favorite thing to take is an over the door shoe holder with lots of pockets. Keeps things up and out of your way, but visible. It isn't just for shoes anymore! .

My daughter and I shared a table with 3 ladies on a friends getaway, and they told us ...

  • Re: Packing list

I just returned last Friday from a marvelous cruise on the Holiday. I used www.cruisediva.com for ideas, but I gotta tell you that the best thing I brought was an over the door shoe hanger with pockets. You can put ANYTHING in those pockets and it will keep it up and out of your way. The bathrooms are very small so my daughter and I put everything ...

Along the same lines - on the days of the excursions that leave early, will breakfast be available before excursion time? Or would room service be a better choice? Leaving in TWELVE days and so so excited!!!
