We did this excursion in October and didn't feel like it was worth the money. We loved ixtapa and Manzanillo, but would skip getting off the ship in Acapulco if we do the same cruise again.

 We were about in the middle on deck 5 with the obstructed view balconies. I did accept a margarita from them and they were pushing me more than my DH, he doesn't drink much.

 They did have nice jewelry but, I felt a bit intimidated as did my DH.  It wasmy firsttime out of the country and I felt out of my element a bit.  Not like that at home usually.  Our next cruise we know what to expect and won't be as overwhelmed by it all. Where was your cabin 4bolts on the spirit?

We just got back from sailing the Spirit a few weeks ago and though I didn't think the food was that great I will say it wass much better in the dining room than on the lido deck. As far as the kids on board they seemed decently behaved in both places but, we might just been lucky and missed any breakdowns by young ones on board.  Kids ...

We did the aztec dinner and cliff divers, but did'nt really enjoy, and the tour guide we had gave me the creeps.  Acapulco seemed really seedy to me and the people we had encountered were very aggressivce and pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer. In that port are duty free shops and one jewery store there offers you a free ride ...

 Our room was o 5th floor rm # 5168.  We were very happy with room and with obstructed balcony.  We sadly will always plan on having a balcony and have to pay the extra but DH and I agree it is worth it.  Our steward John was excellent and alwaqys so nice.

 Yes the formal nights were first full day at sea and day 6.  The first one everyone at table dressed up the 2nd there was a miscommunication and my spouse and I were the only ones at our table.  The rest of our group was waiting for us on lido deck( I misunderstood the plan)I felt bad.  Just so you know the monkeyhead drink was$14 or $15.  Cute but not worth it in my opinion.  Please no hate replies from the monkeyheads.  I respect those that are willing to pay that but I wasn't thrilled to do so.
