  • Re: Just got back

I hate to hear this since we are cruising the Paradise in February...I can say that the food on the Triumph and the Splendor was very good.  Breakfast never seems to be a high-point on any of the Carnival ships that we have been on, but the other food has always been pretty good, as cruise ship food goes.   Thanks for your review.

  • Wanted Triumph Past Guest Pin

Anyone have a Triumph pin they will sell me?  I have none to trade, just wanting to collect the ones from cruises I have been on.  Thanks.

That is what I kind of thought, that maybe it would show up for booking later.  Thanks Matt, and others, I appreciate your input.

  • Wine Country Tour

We are cruising on the Paradise Feb. 1 and I noticed that Carnival only has the Blowhole/Winery tour showing for Ensenada on the website for excursions to book.  We really wanted the Wine Country Tour instead, which goes to two wineries.  Our cruise is 78 days out, so is this why it is not showing for purchase? Do we need to wait ...

  • Re: Trepidation....

Wow...You are likely to get a bunch of responses..not all of them helpful...but I can tell you that the cost of a cruise depends greatly on what type of cabin you booked and your destination, and even time of year.   Additionally, while the cost might seem high overall, I have spent more in total simply going to Vegas for a week.  ...

Also, we have another one to Alaska via Cruise Critics at a very bargain rate for next September. I seem to be so far from Platinum:(  Clayton

  • Re: Review of Splendor for April 19-26, 2009

That would be the very same...Lizz.  In fact, they were photographing him at the table with his pants down... I also happen to observe him riding on the back of one of the trolleys at Matzalan with is pants around his ankles as they drove up to the gangway... There were two service men, a customs agent, and one Carnival official and not one ...

  • Review of Splendor for April 19-26, 2009

Hello to all:  Overall, we enjoyed our trip on the Splendor.  My two complaints are that disembarkation was horrible and our late seating time was not a good choice.  Disembarkation: We were on the 10th deck and supposed to disembark with deck 11, which would be fine except no one bothered to lock some of the elevators from ...
