  • Re: Ship-On-A-Stick???

We were lucky enough to get picked to be on the newlywed game on the Miracle. It was so much fun. It was just like how you would think it would go. The couple that had been married only 2 days were very nervous, we were the middle of the road couple(30 years) and the older couple (48 years) couldn't really remember that far back which was ...

I've been a Produce Manager for the past 32 years. I also have delivered newspapers for the past 8 years and this past spring started umpiring baseball games at night. My wife also delivers newspapers and works for a survey company during the day. Needless to say we are VERY MUCH looking forward to our cruise in 40 days 1 hour and 40 ...

  • Re: October 18th cruise out of Norfolk

I'm not really sure but we plan on being at the terminal by 10:30. There are 16 of us and I know the checking in will take some time but I know we are going to be so excited that we decided we would rather sit at the terminal rather then sit at home on pins and needles wondering when we should leave.

  • October 18th cruise out of Norfolk

We might have a easy time getting on the ship and getting to our rooms early since the Triumph is traveling over night on the 17th from New York with no passengers on board. That means no one getting off and the stewards have all night to prepare each room. If I'm right does this mean we can get on earlier than usual.Hope so, more time for ...

  • Re: Book excursions now or when we board?

The first time we cruised we waited to book when we got on the ship. One of the excursions we wanted was already filled up so we didn't get to go on that one . We now book ahead of time so we don't have that problem again. I guess it's how popular the excursion is on how fast it fills up. We don't take that chance anymore. Plus by ...

  • Re: First Time Cuisers

You can be dropped at the terminal. That's how we do it and it's no problem just expect to have long lines getting into the dropoff area but the porters do a great job getting your luggage and getting you headed in the right direction.

  • Re: Scared

Number 1 you need a passport to go on a cruise.number 2 if you don't book a excursion thru carnival thats ok BUT you are on your own as far as getting back to the ship.If it says you leave port at 5:00p.m. you leave at 5:00p.m. Don't get back at 5:01 you will be seeing the ship leave from the docks. But get those passports

  • Re: regarding booking excursions

You pay for them upfront. We do this every time we cruise, it's already paid for which leaves more money for dod"s. Also when you pay upfront the excursion tickets will be brought to your stateroom.
