  • Re: Excursion Payment Question?

When we sailed on the Triumph in March 2009 we booked our excursions and paid for them with our credit card at the time we booked them.  We did book one excursion on the ship , it was one that you could only book after the ship sailed, and that excursion was put on our sail and sign card.  I agree with you that it is nice to have the ...

  • Re: Upgrade call this week

We upgraded from a balcony on deck 8 to a suite for our cruise on the Triumph last March.  I booked online but was called by a carnival PVP in early February and offered an upgrade fro $400.00.  This was a 10 year anniversary cruise so we splurged and took it.  A suite is really nice, more room and VIP check in and out but if we are ...

  • Re: cabin or suite?

With a suite you get VIP check in and you get to get off first at the ports and during debarkation.  The suite is roomier for sure and I feel once you get any cabin with a balcony you won't want to go back .  We love a balcony cabin and last cruise we did upgrade to a suite and the VIP on and off.  Of course who cares what cabin ...

  • Re: First time on Liberty, Oct 31st 09

There are no irons in the cabins because of fire hazard but they have them in laundry rooms which are on each deck with cabins on it. Be aware that a lot of ironing is done for elegant night so you will want to keep that in mind, Have fun on the Liberty, we will be on her in March 2010.

  • Re: HELP! Describe the cover of CCL DVD

We bought the DVD made on board last March 2009 and it is in a bigger black case like you would get with any dvd you purchase at a retail store. The label is in the carnival signature colors of red and blue.  We purchased ours from the photo dept. on the Triumph.  Hope this helps.

  • Re: IF I HAD IT TO DO OVER

We are headed back in March for our third cruise and will be taking less clothes with us.  try to keep a list of what you don't use so you can leave it home next time and you will want to go again. The shows on the ships are great so be sure and see some and try out all the different places to eat. You really need to try the chocolate ...

My name is Cindy. I get more excited for our cruise each day. I plan on being well informed of all there is to do on this cruise.  My sis and I are determined to take less along this time too. What are you and your son doing in Miami before the cruise, isn't it? We will have time on the day we return to see some sights.
