• Re: Ecstacy Review Mar 7-12

If you'll grab a porter in Galveston when you return, you don't have to wait in that horrible line.  It's well worth tipping to be taken directly thru customs without ever stopping.

  • Re: LOTS of questions! Help!

Nothing is 'free' but included in your fare.  There is an extra charge for alcohol, specialty coffee drinks, and sodas.  You can and should carry your camera equipment onboard. There are lots of tempting extras and goodies onboard that can add up quickly on your S&S - souvenirs, DODs, photos, etc.  You can ...
Unfortunately due to this nasty experience along with a few other disappointments (kids running wild) we will not cruise again.
Good to know!  I hate to spend a long awaited, well deserved cruise with inane whiny folks like you.  You are absurd.   [quote ...

  • Re: CDMA Cell Phone? Work

Unfortunately, not everyone has the luxury of having a competent staff to handle things.  I booked our 25th anniversary cruise 8 months in advance, and by the time it rolled around, things had exploded in my husband's office.  He is in the home building business, and in case you've been living under a rock, or on a cruise ship ...

  • Re: Progresso

I would take Progreso and the surrounding ruins over Cozumel ANY day.  Like Rwily said, it's definitely 'night and day'.  If you're looking for chain bars, overpriced cabs and lots of traffic, (touristy trappings) you'll prefer Cozumel.  If you're looking for quiet excursions to ancient Mayan ruins, authentic ...
There is a reason why people call Carnival the Wal-Mart of cruising. Evidence is here in these forums. • Re: Queston regarding Formal night........

He won't stand out, except to those people who only go to formal night to judge the attire of others - which is a very small number.  He'll look a lot more dressy than many I'm sure.  In a photo taken on our recent cruise, at our table on formal night, you can see in the background shorts, tennis shoes and flip flops.  ...
