• Re: Dining Room Dinner Courses
hollins2007,  I have seen people dancing, even ballroom style, in the atrium area some days & nights.  You will find plenty of places to dance in any style you choose.  Have fun! Nanny
I saw people dancing ballroom - some foxtrot in the lobby, swing and hustle at the deck party on the lido deck... ...

I managed to eat well despite being picky. Our waiter, who was pretty funny, always gave me a weird look if I didn't get a starter but smiled whenever I got the warm chocolate melting cake (I think I had it 4 or 5 times, haha). I loved the pizza and cheeseburgers on the lido deck for lunch. And the chocolate buffet was good too! :)

  • Re: Christmas Cove Sailing and Snorkeling??

I just got back from my cruise - it was a lot of fun (the trip as well as this excursion). I would recommend it to anyone going to St. Thomas. The crew was great, and for my first time snorkeling it wasn't as scary as I thought it might be :) I definitely want to go snorkeling again in the future!

  • Re: Decor on Splendor

I just got back from a week on the Splendor. Yes, it is pink, but I didn't mind it. The only thing was there are pink circles on a lot of the doors and I kept thinking they looked like Homer Simpson donuts, haha.

  • Getting Change for Cash

I got a $100 bill from my grandma for Christmas and decided to use that for my cash on my cruise (which is this Saturday). I'd rather not make an extra trip to the bank so I was wondering, can I get that 100 dollars divided up into 5s and 10s and maybe some 1s? I want to tip extra through the week if the crew does a really good job, so I ...

  • Glasses

I wear glasses and have really bad vision - probably -5 or -6 or so, plus astigmatism. I was wondering when I go swimming on the ship, like on the slides, is there a place to put my glasses (in a glasses case, of course)? I'd rather not leave them in the room so I can actually see where I'm going on the ship without having to rely on the ...

  • Re: Christmas Cove Sailing and Snorkeling??

I booked this excursion (at the begging of my DB and SIL) so I was hoping for some reviews as well - I've looked here and on Cruise Critic boards and no one's really said anything on it. In addition (if anyone answers - I see the OP wrote this back in November) I was wondering how it works if you book two excursions in one place? I had ...

  • Re: Splendor 1/24/2009 anyone?

I'm excited! They just posted the Nassau excursions. Yay :) Now to coordinate with some people going with me and figure out which time to do the Segway tour... :)

  • Re: Excursions for 1/17/08!

I'm going on the same cruise, just a week later, and it's the same thing (waiting for Nassau to be posted!). I was thinking of doing parasailing but my BFF decided to not do it (it is a little pricey!) so we're doing the Skyride to Paradise Point. This is my first cruise so I'm really excited! I guess you'll be coming off ...
