  • Re: ROLL CALL: JAN 10, 2010

Wow, where is everyone on this roll call? If it wasn't for the roll call at cruise critic, I would think I was the only one sailing this week! Down to only 52 days now....I would think everyone would be gettting excited and the boards will be getting really active, hmmmmm does no one come on the roll calls at Carnival any longer? If there is ...

  • Re: What excursions do you recomment or not recommend??

In Cozumel my favorite beach is Nachi Cocum...but you have to book it privately. It is a private beach club, and they only take 100 reservations per day. It is $49 per person and includes unlimited drinks and a 3 course meal. Just do a search for Nachi Cocum and check it out!! Awesome day!!

  • Re: ROLL CALL: JAN 10, 2010

We have never tried the supper club...never even been tempted. We enjoy the dining room food, service, and usually our table mates so much, we just can't see the need to spend money on food when it's free for the price of the cruise. Seems a waste of money to us...I would rather save the money and apply toward our next cruise. Heck, we ...

I will when I cruise in Jan...but for now, I just said a little prayer for them. They are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for posting this info...after all, they are our "cruise sisters"!

  • Re: parasailing in Grand Turks

Don't know about parasailing, but if anyone offers it privately, you can probably find them as soon as you get off the ship. The beach in Grand Turk is right at the pier where you dock...walk to the end of the pier and you are at the beach...and it is free. The shopping area is straight ahead as well as a great Margaritaville. When we went to ...

  • Re: Ice Packs?

Depending on what ship you are on, you may have a mini fridge in your room. You could bring your own and keep them in your room in that case. Each floor also has Ice machines or just ask your room stewart to keep your ice bucket full and you can use that and make your own ice packs. Like the other posted said, you could always call Carnival and ...
