  • Re: Pier Parking

No need for the GPS, the Broward Sheriff's Office deputies at the security checkpoint will direct you to the nearest parking garage to the terminal your ship is docked.

  • Re: Drive from Orlando to Miami

Since you're leaving from Disney, head east on I-4 to the Florida Turnpike exit, then South on the Turnpike to the Golden Glades exit which then merges with I-95. Continue South on I-95 to State Road(SR) 112 to the Miami Int'l Airport. It's about 4 to 4.5 hours drive, so if you leave Orlando at 7 AM you should be in Miami by ...

  • Re: My Wallet was stolen from my room!!!!!

Gee Monchito, why would you leave your wallet in your luggage and then leave your cabin? Your wallet should be on your person at all times when not in your cabin. I debarked the Splendor the morning of 11/17/08, and all my valuables were in the safe and my wallet in my pants pocket. Sorry this happened to you, but it's a good, but hard ...

  • Re: Taxi or what from Ft. Lauderdale to Valor on June 15th

You're right, Regal Empress is no Carnival, and it's cheap, but they have many repeat customers who love making the trip to Nassau on the 1950s ship. Cabins are small, I'm told. • Re: Is it worth the money to upgrade to a balcony?

It's definitely worth the extra money for the balcony. We've only booked balcony cabins on 7 day cruises. I've been on 1 and 2 night cruises and booked an inside on 2 occasions and a balcony on the other two.

Trust me Luv 2 Float, if your account isn't settled on the morning you disembark, they will have you settle it before you leave the vessel.

  • Re: Same cabin, 1 guest did FunPass, 1 didn't...

There is a separate line for Fun Passes, but the last time I cruised from Miami in May 2005, there was none. Carnival has a new terminal there now so I don't know the drill there. There was a separate line in San Juan, PR.

Just her.  The information you give when you complete the online registration is required by the Dept of Homeland Secuirty, so her mother need to complete the online registration for your niece and print her Fun Pass, or they'll do it at the checkin counter which will slow your checkin.  Each person in the cabin must provide the ...
