Vicki: I appreciate your compliment. Unfortunately I do not have any pictures posted on sites similar to Shutterfly and such...sorry. So glad to hear you have a trip planned to Nassau, Bahamas in June. I know you will love it there. We'll just to leave the pictures of the Atlantis Resort up to your imagination for now. Chuckyd

  • My Review Conquest Oct 18-25 Eastern Carribean Day 6

Today was the second sea day since our cruise began and we decided to take full advantage of it...we slept in till 7:30am. Got dressed and the kids up in the next cabin and down to the Lido Deck for the breakfast buffet. I believe a lot of other cruisers were thinking the same thing because it was a ghost town down on the Lido Deck. Where ...

Sunseeker: You know really...Freeport is not a bad port of call. I would probably describe it this way. Compared to Key West and Nassau...Freeport would win the bronze medal. The Freeport dock is located right in the middle of a shipping yard and ship refurbishment center. In the distance was a Royal Carribean Ship up out of the water being ...

  • My Review Conquest Oct 18-25 Eastern Carribean Day 5

We woke up early again this morning around 6am. Our scheduled arrival into Nassau, Bahamas was 7am and I was not about to miss our arrival at the port. Up and dressed I made it to the Deck 6 Observation area with camera and camcorder in hand. By the time I had made it there the island was clearly visible with the sunrise at 6:53am on that day. As ...

  • My Review Conquest Oct 18-25 Eastern Carribean Day 4

We woke up a little earlier than the previous day because the Conquest was scheduled to arrive in Freeport, Bahamas at 8am. We again decided to eat the Breakfast Buffet on the Lido Deck because we could manage our time better than the Monet Resturant. Boy...I"m pretty reliable when it comes to my eating habits. Eggs, a bagel, bacon, and ...

Duane: You still have to place your life jacket on...but not until you are in line for the muster drill. They use to ask you to place it on in your cabin and make your way to the muster station but that black wrap around closure strap was becoming a trip hazard so they only require it once in line. Sorry...no getting out of that bright orange ...

  • My Review Conquest Oct 18-25 Eastern Carribean Day 3

We decided to sleep in a little later this morning with no trip to the gym on Spa Deck 11. I had done well the first two days so I decided not go and reward myself. We were scheduled to arrive in Key West, Florida at 10am. After awakening we decided to hit the Breakfast Buffet on Lido this morning and not go to the Monet Resturant. My only ...

The cruise director basically said anyone who comes forward and shows their sail and sign card and it is gold in color (all previous Carnival cruisers get the gold card) gets double you raffle ticket purchase. You would think that only previous cruisers would be in the room but obviously some people pass the invitation card to some other ...

Nancy: Actually there were 3 type of functions like this. The first was on Monday at 5pm which they called the Captain's Meet and Greet where they introduce all of the ships officers. You had to pay for the drinks though. The second is the one you are probably referring to. We received a special invitation card with your specific name ...
