  • Re: Atlantis Aquaventure with Freedom Ship

What time you leave Atlantis will all depend on what time you are told to be back on the ship. There are only two ways to get to Atlantis: by water taxi or over the bridge.  The traffic can get very congested in the early evening. You will need to go through Bahamian security before you are allowed onto the pier (wait time), and it is about a ...

I just checked on cruisett, and you are going to be one of four ships in Nassau that day, and probably the last one to arrive. That being said, if you really want to do the excursion, you should book it now. We did the aquaventure last week in Nassau. Even though it begins at 12:30 for you, you will most likely not get into the water activities ...

  • Re: Atlantis Visit

We just returned from our Destiny cruise yesterday which included Nassau.  We booked the Aquaventure through Carnival. The pools do not open until 9 AM and the slides do not open until 10 AM. If you leave Nassau at 1 PM, you will need to be back on the ship by at least 12:30, and traffic can be difficult. With as much as it costs (We did ...

Thay sounds like a great arrangement you've got. I'll be taking my dog to the kennel this evening. I hate doing it, but they are wonderful to him, and he sleeps most of the time now, anyway. (He's 15.) I hope the packing went well. It was a relief to zipper the suitcase. I even did something I said I would never do: pack one of those ...

Sounds like you are in desperate need of a vacation! I hear you about the nails, sister! I get mine done every two weeks but made an extra appointment this past Thursday so they would be "fresh." I even talked my mother into getting a manicure and then gave her a pedicure myself today. (Gotta have matching toes ) I finished packing ...

My son is 12. It's an interesting age. I thought girls were the only ones with hormone-induced mood swings! Most of the time he is a sweetheart, still wanting to snuggle up to me when we watch a movie. I cherish those moments. He absolutely adores his grandparents. We are lucky that we only live about 20 minutes apart, and we see them at ...

[quote user="tenis4life"] Well there is only 4 of us and we probably will not get to board till 2:00.  I bet they will be sold out by then.  I hope not .  If so, I guess we will get a clam (I think that is what it is called).  I still plan on having fun, even if I have to watch the others in the cabana with their ...
