  • Re: park and cruise hotels

When we cruise out of FLL we stay at the Ramada Cruise Port.  If you stay overnight, which we always do the night before the cruise begins, they have free transportation to the port the morning of the cruise (they also pick us up from the airport for free).  I know they will let you park for free for the nights you are staying with them ...

I was hoping they were going to be putting in the resort style pool but that is just my wish.  I have not heard anything specific on what renovations they will be doing.  I'm sailing in May so I am hoping for some nice updates.

  • Re: Anyone on Freedom May 8, 2010

I have been eyeing this cruise for several months now. I booked it yesterday when the price dropped again.  My wife and I and my two kids (6 and 4) will be going.  It does seem like a long time from now but it will be here before you know it.  Never too early to start preparing and planning for it.

  • Costa Cruises

I know this is a Carnival website and I am a big fan of Carnival (5 cruises taken with them and hopefully many more in the future) but I have an opportunity to go on a Costa Cruise next spring and I was wondering if anyone here has been on one before and can compare it with Carnival.  Costa is owned by Carnival Corp. so I guess ...

This is a post I made when I returned from the Liberty in December.  I hope it helps.   Just got off of the Liberty for the 11-29-08 - 12-6-08 Eastern cruise and wanted to give everyone an update on the ship for those of you who will be cruising on it soon.  I was on the Liberty during the week after ...

  • Re: parking at the port

Below is the information from the Carnival website.  I believe the parking lot is right at the port.  Definately within walking distance from the ship.  My wife and I have made a road trip in the past from Pittsburgh to FL for a cruise so I am sure you will have fun.  I hope this ...

I do not want to confuse you but I just checked my sail and sign card  and the dinner on the card is listed as "Open Dining Deck 4".

I wrote a long post under the title "Liberty review 11-29-08".  Here is the part of my post on the open seating.  I hope this helps.    Dining -  We were scheduled (not guarenteed) dinner at 8:15pm.  When we arrived at the port terminal we were told we were selected for open ...

  • Liberty Review 11-29-08 - Dinning, Camp Carnival, etc.

Just got off of the Liberty for the 11-29-08 - 12-6-08 Eastern cruise and wanted to give everyone an update on the ship for those of you who will be cruising on it soon.  I was on the Liberty during the week after Thanksgiving in 2007 as well on the Western cruise so hopefully I can give you an idea of what has changed on the ship ...
