  • Re: How's the wireless internet service?

If you need to connect to the internet quite a bit, you can buy internet time from the ship.  And if the wi-fi is bad in your room, you could go to their internet cafe (not sure where that is on the Legend). If you are just wanting to check your email every now and then, I'd suggest leaving your laptop at home and just using the ...

  • Re: carry on lugage

I believe you don't have access to your room until around 2 P.M., or whenever they announce the rooms are ready.  I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to go to your room as soon as you board.  Most people go up to the Lido deck and have lunch before going to the room.

The Florida Aquarium is a pretty amazing place and is right next to Terminal 2.  Worth checking out if you like aquariums.

  • Re: Needing Snorkeling Suggestions for the western carribean.

In Grand Cayman, you can get off at Georgetown, walk over to a dive shop called Eden Rock and rent snorkel gear for $14.00 and snorkel right over 2 sites called Eden Rock and Devil's Grotto.  They are both great places you can get to from the shore.  I don't believe there is a time limit, so you can snorkel until it's time to ...

  • Re: Live Web Cam in Caymen

The Valor is an amazing ship.  My wife and I really enjoyed going up on the Lido deck for the evening movies.  We were on it in October of 2008.  What a great week.

  • Re: when can you can you book excursions and how get to the excursion

Hi Micki,   One thing about booking excursions that I wanted to add was that you cannot book excursions online if you are within 72 hours of the cruise.  You will have to wait until you are onboard.  I personally wouldn't wait.  We had friends of ours last October tried to book online at the last minute and couldn't ...

  • Re: Is it worth upgrading from a balcony stateroom to a suite?

Ok, let me add a couple of things after the last 2 people commented.  One, there are no category 12 suites left on this sailing of the Legend.  And if there were, they are like a thousand more per person.  Most people don't have $2000.00 to spend, and owing that much after a honeymoon doesn't make sense.  Just my ...

  • Re: Is it worth upgrading from a balcony stateroom to a suite?

You are going to get a wide variety of responses to this question.  I would say that a lot of it comes down to your objectives for the cruise.  A suite upgrade is going to run you at least $800.00 more.  If money isn't the issue, then it would be worth it since you would qualify for VIP treatment, which means a quicker ...

  • Needing Dive Buddy for 23 August 09 sailing

My wife and I are thinking about doing the shore dive/snorkeling on Grand Cayman on Tuesday, 25 August.  I will have my Advanced Open Water cert, and am looking for a dive buddy who knows the dive sites (Eden Rock and Devils Grotto).  I need a dive buddy that takes the buddy system seriously, but wants to have fun diving.  My ...

  • Diving suggestions for W. Caribbean - 23 Aug 09

My wife and I are heading to the Western Caribbean on 23 Aug 09 on the Legend and could use some suggestions for diving/snorkeling excursions.  I will have my advanced open water cert by the time we sail, but my wife does only snorkeling.  Are there any places (at any of the 4 ports - Grand Cayman, Cozumel, Belize and Roatan) where we ...
