We had a balcony on the Conquest. That was fun, especially coming into port at Jamaica. You can see the mountains from quite a distance. Those binoculars may well come in handy, but be sure you get up early in the morning for that.

I've never bothered with the shoe holder, but I had an inside cabin on my recent cruise on the Holiday. I'm pretty sure for that for the first time, the shoe holder would have been immensely useful. There's very little storage in the bathroom, unlike on the Conquest, for example (we cruised her last December). There ...

I was wondering what that Denzel Washington/John Travolta movie was we watched! It was good, but I missed the ending. Now I can put it in the NetFlix queue when it comes out. Also managed to watch The Proposal. We brought our portable DVD player, but we also brought along external portable speakers to help the sound out a ...

Who wouldn't be excited? An inside cabin on the oldest and smallest ship in the Carnival fleet...with the threat of the possibility of brown water awaiting...is STILL A CRUISE in my book! Dern-skippy he's excited and so am I! Woo-hoo!

Finally had to tell DH last night about the cruise. He signed up for something that required a weekly presence on Mondays. I had to tell him so he could reschedule. Otherwise, he would going to have to miss the second Monday and that was going to throw everything off. Dang. He forced my hand! But he was ...
Our school has a week off in the fall. Other schools do that to. I am hoping for some kids. I would prefer kids to partyers any day!!!!
I'm am with you on that - kids are way better than partyers! But I was under the impression that only colleges had fall break. I guess ...
