Its not really cold.  Usually you will need a sweater or light jacket in the evening and early morning but can get away with light pants (even shorts) and a light shirt during the day.  I would prepare for wet weather just in case, so light rain gear would also be good.  If your friends think it is very cold in the summer they ...

I know about the travel insurance, that is why I am worried.  In the event of any cancellation our trip is not refundable, because they were purchased with an air mile program.  We have purchased the best insurance available but it will not cover cancellation.
