  • I got one I got one I GOT ONE!!

Yay!!!  I've been looking at pictures for month of you guys with your cute monkeys carved out of a coconut and have been thinking I MUST get one of those and I am PLEASED to inform ALL of you of my recent adventure on the Inspiration.  I asked EVERY day for a monkey head but they didn't sell them until the last day but I got ...

  • Re: Just back from Inspiration...great cruise!

Luv 2 Float -  I just got back yesterday and we did the galley tour on Friday.  It was definately very cool!  What an amazing trip!  I loved every minute of it and wish we were still there!!!!!!  We did a "Snuba" excursion in Cozumel.  It was awesome!  You don't have to be certified and you go down ...

  • Re: Gratuities - for kids?

We got the automatic charge for my 2 year old at 10/day...I didn't add anything onto it from him but we did slip our favorite people an extra 10.  You have to figure -- its another bed they make and turn down, another person to wait on at diner, MORE of a mess to clean up after than a regular cruiser. Our steward was awesome and kept our ...

  • Re: COOLERS

I just got off the boat with my 2 year old.  I did the same thing.  I brought a larger cooler but it was soft sided and it folded up.  Unless you are concerned about giving your children organic milk I wouldn't worry about milk.  It is always available whether it be on Lido or from room service.  Juice, I totally ...

  • Re: Last minute questions

We just got off of the Inspiration yesterday so I totally understand your questions!  Soda -- we brought 2 12 packs and a case of water and it was fine.  The A/C has a knob on the ceiling (lol) where you can controll the amount of cool air pumped into your room.  For a 5 day there is one formal night -- 7 days there are 2.  ...

  • Where do you pack drinks?

I've seen that people bring a 12 pack and a case of water....do you leave them in the original packaging and tape a luggage tag on?  Take them out and load up a bag?  What about wine?  Put it in a carry on?  Also, I'm just curious...where do you 'smuggle' your liquor?  I don't think we'll do it ...

  • Re: Booked 2 rooms-Question

All you have to do is switch cards.  If they are under age their room key has to be assigned to a room with an adult.  You wife and son can switch keys while under way and switch them back before you get off in port.  You can't forget this step because they will swipe the card and the photo will come up when you get back ...

  • Re: Snuba?

That sounds amazing!   I just checked out their website and it looks like they are still doing it!  I would think so since it is listed as a new excursion on Carnival's website...I called but got no answer so I sent an email...we really want to do it!  It looks SO fun!

  • Re: Printed my e-docs but..

Awesome, thank you!  Yes, we did get passports.  They got them to us in less than 2 weeks!  And I didn't do the expedited service.  I was impressed!
