• Re: Question about Christmas Cruising
We are not taking gifts/stocking stuffers on board, but what we are going to do is all 8 of us put our names in a hat and each person draw one name and at the first port or in ship shops we have to buy that person a souvenir and wrap up for Christmas Day.
great idea...if we end up going ...

  • Re: What's you favorite Towel Animal
they did a monkey and left him hanging over the desk, that just did it for me, I laughed everytime I saw it
I was very disappointed that I didn't get a monkey on my cruise   there were a couple I got that I never did figure out what they were, even after I posted them on the message ...

  • Re: Cruise Director Begovich or, Post

Tammy, that sounds like a really fun meet and greet; I wish there had been something like that for my Glory cruise back in November--Butch was the CD on that sailing, and we loved him

  • Re: Who else is celebrating Christmas?? Dec. 19 - 26

I would love to go on this cruise...I am a single cruiser, though, and I am not sure what the rate would be with my booking it as a single person in a cabin...about how much do you think?

  • Re: Murder...he wrote

this is a tragic event...as for the cabin, I must say that I would not want to stay in it either...I am not superstitious, nor do I believe it would be haunted or anything--I just think the idea of someone having been murdered in that room would creep me out and lessen my enjoyment of my cruise

  • Re: Anyone cruising Thanksgiving week

I can confirm what others said about families and kids on Thanksgiving week cruises...I found there were several generations of families cruising together...grandparents, parents, teens, young children--I liked the atmosphere of multi-generational families enjoying time together...also, Carnival has excellent teen club programs, and my teenaged ...

  • Re: Help with NASSAU!!!

I have heard good things about the Blackbeard's Beach Break as well.  We weren't in Nassau for very long on our cruise, so the all-day pass at Atlantis was not a good deal.  The rest of my family--including teens--took a taxi on their own to Atlantis and just explored the resort.  I have also heard that the pirate museum is ...

  • Re: Question about debarking!

All of the posts have had good advice on this subject matter.  We did self-disembark on our November cruise.  It was a nightmare.  Part of the reason was that we had engine problems and were about 2 hours late docking.  The majority of passengers decided to self-disembark.  It was a mad house.  Plus you do have to ...

  • Re: Boarding

I don't think it is absolutely necessary to have the notarized letter, but why take the chance?  As another poster mentioned, there is a standard form you can print from Carnival's Web site.  Also, God forbid if something happens--like a medical emergency while in port--you could run into treatment problems without such a ...
