  • Re: HELP carnival cruisers ???? need answers

Congrats!!  You might also call the guest services department before your cruise.  They are great about doing special things like that.

  • Re: boats family friendly and safe?

The actual rails are spaced but there is an angled piece of thick plexiglass from the deck to the top of the rail.  Very safe.  I would not hesitate taking my grandsons.

  • Re: Which pier in Seattle will Carnival use in 2010?

We will be on the May 25th cruise also, on the upper deck.  Is the airport near the pier?  Also does anyone know of a good motel near the pier to stay the night before?

  • Re: Panhandling

That happened to me in Jamiaca.  I just had the guy take it off my wrist and I walked off.  I never saw a panhandler in the Bahamas though.  I guess I was lucky.  Don't worry about it to much.  Ignore them and when they see you are serious and they are not going to get any money from you they will go on to the next ...

  • Re: Galveston, free cruise parking?

Go to www.galveston.com and click on hotels/motels or whatever it says there.  You will find descriptions of the places and if they offer free shuttle service along with free parking.   Where we stayed was a block off the seawall and offered free parking, but we had to take a cab to and from the pier.  It was about $16 each ...

  • Re: Anyone have pictures??

Lucky you!  This is my cabin.  I have stayed in it twice.  I don't know about the actual dimensions, but a couple we were tablemates with said it was bigger than their regular balcony room.  The balcony is huge.  We have had fellow passengers ask to come in for tours and people from the decks above may yell down ...

  • Re: Thinking of taking the 12-13-09 cruise to Bahamas...I have questions!

Weather in the Bahamas during December is usually in the upper 70's, but like anywhere else, that can change in a heartbeat.  We went during the rainy season and still had a great time, bet you will too.

  • Re: Key West & Freeport

We did the Jeep excursion in Freeport and enjoyed it very much.  They furnished lunch at some botanical garden (I forgot the name) and you got to walk around there a little.  There was still time after the tour to walk around the little straw market by the ship.
