• Re: VIP Check In

Razz, If you had booked your son into the cabin next door, or across the hall, you would have been able to book the kids together. The would not need to have an adjoining door, just be next to each other. DS -

  • Re: Balcony Room Size question??

Vickie, I think you'll be OK, my son slept on the couch in our balcony cabins and never had problems. All category 8 cabins are the same size, only some have extended balconies. The sofas are the same size, so they are fine to sleep on. I slept on one 2 years ago without problems and I am 5'10". DS -

  • Re: Balcony Room Size question??

Vickie, The sofa would be fine for a 9 yr old. Unfortunately that cabin is not a Triple occupany cabin, so I would confirm that your reservation have the 3rd passenger listed on the cruise documents. Carnival should have moved you to a triple cabin. DS -

  • Re: Need Someone to Advise Me

Nana, The only reason Carnival would charge to move you from one cabin to another is because you ended up changing cabin categories. I would have to ask if you were dealing with carnival directly, because that would be something an unscrupulous travel "agent" would do. Using an experienced travel consultant would perform this service ...
We will have smokers in our group on a future cruise. Do you know if there are any problems smoking on the balconys?
The only problem with smiking on a balcony is that inconsiderate people DO toss their butts overboard when they are told not to. During the muster drill they make the announcement ...

  • Re: Linking 10 cabins (24 people) for dinner

Walt, You are closer than you think on this subject - A Carnival Reservation Agent (which is contacted through 1-800-Carnival) or a PVP only deal with individual bookings. If someone knows there might be more than 5 cabins booked, then they need to go through the Groups Dept. This would give them a better rate and some amentities. Working ...

  • Re: I know I sound like I am whining....

If you think paying on time would have gotten you a better deal, then you may want to re-think your travel "agent". Any Travel Consultant worth working with stays on top of payments and when they are due. My agency has a steadfast policy to make the deadline for final payment 1 week prior ro when the cruiseline requires it. We ...

  • Re: cruise miles

If your miles are from a Visa SeaMiles Card then you can use a SeaMiles Agency to redeem them. THe Visa SeaMiles program is more flexible than the MC SeaMiles Program which restricts you to purchase through one vendor and then you only get a discount on a full fare ticket. With the Visa SeaMiles program you can use discounts and get TRIPLE ...

  • Re: Splendor 11-8-09 Is anyone else going?

Hey all, You already have me on the roll call. Can't wait for Sunday! I have my list of things to do at work before I finish on Friday, and it's almost completed. I'm even thinking about not working on Saturday so I can drive up from San Diego and spend the night on Saturday. I see a couple of Monkeyheads on the roll call - any of ...
