  • Re: Fare Code

To use the Quick Search box on the carnival.com Home Page, MY method is to completely logout of carnival.com and then re-enter carnival.com - if you still see your cruise info you need to login with your e-mail and password, THEN logout and it won't recognize you next time.  ken

  • Re: Dining

You can only change your Table thru the Maitre D', who is not going to unilaterally move someone else to accomodate you; he will move you to an available table or he won't be able to accomodate you and you'll have to accept your assignment.  ken

  • Re: Dining

At check-in your Sail & sign Card will show assignment to a specific table in a specific dining room - that's your assignment for the duration of the cruise.  ken

  • Re: Rooms ready what time?

For 4:00PM departures,  there are generally signs at the (closed) passageways indicating access to cabins will be at 1:30PM.  Personally I think it's a bit rude to crash the doors and enter your cabin anyway - but many do so. In the meantime you can head to the Lido for Lunch.  ken

  • Re: Early Saver

Just be sure to first thoroughly read & understand the Early Saver terms and conditions  http://www.carnival.com/cms/fun/specials/pay-per-day-2.aspx?icid=CC_HMPG_324 .  In exchange for a reduced initial fare and the opportunity for price drops up to two days before sailing, you agree to not being able to change passengers on the ...

  • Re: Fare Code

In general you really don't need fare codes to check rates anymore. The FunSelect, FunSaver and EarlySaver rates are automatically displayed when you search your Cruise.  To see if Military Rate is currently being offered visit one of the on-line sites that displays Military Rates (like cruise.com). ONE way To see if Past Guest, 55+ ...

  • Re: CAN YOU TAKE FOOD FROM MAIN DINNING ROOM

The Main Dining Rooms don't offer the equivalent of "Curbside PickUp Service".  This would really interfere with their routine of picking-up from kitchen and serving by course.  As stated, the dining Rooms aren't all that formal, but you'll need to decide between Dining room service or Buffet.  ken

  • Re: Clarification on Platinum Benefits

If the PAX in the other cabin are immediate family (kids) or they are booked in the same booking as yours they should be able to use VIP boarding, otherwise (technically) no.  ken

  • Re: Is is true an able bodied person can choose a Handicapped room?

[quote user="mjrich73"] [quote user="Ken"] Actually,  TA's and PVP's ARE supposed to "save" accessible cabins as long as  same category cabins are available - The Carnival Policy for booking accessible cabins is:  "Do not book modified/accessible cabins for guests who do not use a ...

  • Re: Worst expierience of my life

[quote user="4bolts"] Well speaking of accidents; that friend that fell in the shower on our cruise? I had her check the insurance policy she had after reading how some covered expenses for a year. Nope. Hers would have only done that if she had been airlifted off the ship or been confined to her cabin the entire cruise. She paid twice ...
