• Re: BEHIND THE SCENES TOUR...HELP...
If you're on a shorter cruise, some ships have a galley tour which is much shorter, maybe 45 minutes, and interesting. We did that tour on Imagination.
Some of the shorter cruises (like the Paradise) are offering the Behind the Scenes tour for $55 for 2.5 hours.

  • Re: water?

Last year I was on the Pride and the water in the MDR tasted funny. Everyone at the table used lemon in the water. Other than that, I have never had a problem with the water.   I always bring a few small bottles of water with me and then refill them for when I get off the ship in ports.

Twilight zones are the best. Everyone does a double take when you are drinking it because they have never seen a blue frozen drink before.

  • Re: Unassigned dining

I did anytime dining on the Paradise. I liked it. You can have the same waiter every night. Just tell the hostess that seats you. I had to wait for 10 minutes one night and was given a buzzer when a table was ready. You can have a table by yourself or you can be seated with others. I found the best time to go was about 30 minutes after early ...

Hi Vicki and Don - How did Don do in the Marathon? Matt - Mom & I did the "Behind the Scenes" tour of the casino ($27). It is a new tour that is similar to the regular Casino tour, but it does not include a movie. We booked it at the Discovery Tours desk on the street at the end of the Green Pier.
