We were on the Pride in August and we had nothing bad to say about it.
Children are not forbidden from the adults only pool area, just were not permitted to go into the pool or the hot tub. When a child tried to enter the pool, security would ask them to leave. I thought that it was handled very well.

Tammy, Nancy and CD,
Thank you for your help. I look forward to seeing Tammy's pictures. And I certainly look forward to our cruise.
I have found that the best time to go looking at cabins is after dis-embarkation has started. We usually plan a later flight, so that we can depart at our liesure. And as the stewarts are preparing ...

Since you booked directly thru Carnival, and you are not getting any satisfaction, call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. Insist on speaking to a supervisor.
The PVPs are there to help you. If you are not getting any satisfaction, they are not helping you. That is what they are paid to do.
I think Carnival takes customer ...

I can tell you from experience that the pizza aboard the Pride was pizzeria quality pizza. And the pastrami and cormed beef combo at the deli was outstanding.
I am not a big buffet fan, but I certainly did not go hungry on the days when the ship was in port.

I dont know if this would work or not, but I would try contacting Carnival Group Travel. Perhaps they will be able to do something for you.
The only other option: As soon as you board ship, go to the dining room and ask to ...

But on our last cruise on the Pride, we frequented the serenity area of the Lido deck. A beverage server named Inez from Croatia served us a couple of times. So we gave her an extra five dollar tip. After that, wherever we saw her on board she ...

...and if you do tip them more, you will get unbeliveable service the rest of the cruise!!!

If you tried a balcony, you would get spoiled. Like I said, we will only go on cruises that we have a balcony now.
We live in the Blueberry Capital-Hammonton. It is the half-way mark between Phila and Atlantic City. Twenty years ago I worked in Toms River. I consider that more Central Jersey than South Jersey I enjoyed working there.[quote ...

Maybelline,
The Fascination was a beautiful ship. We went on in Aug 2008 in the middle of Hurricane Faye. And we had a great time. The only problem we found with it...it has no balconies except for the suites. And we have decided that we only want to go with balconies.
The Fascination was the smallest of the four ships that we have been ...
