What is the difference in the Carnival Elation vs. The Carnival Fantasy? Has anyone heard if the Elation will undergo the waterworks package prior to moving to Mobile in May, 2010? Also, does anyone know why the Fantasy is moving to Mobile for just a short time, then on to Charleston?

How does the cruise ship handle hurricanes when leaving NO. I know once they get into the gulf around midnight, they can actually steer around, but I was just curious while they are in the MS how they do it...

Pam & I are from MS also! We plan to get to NO pretty early that day. We are driving down Friday and spending the nght in Slidell. This is Pam's first cruise so we are very excited!!!!

I have stayed in M71 & M65 and always book in that area. I have refused many upgrades because I prefer to stay right where you are.
