Carnival is doing a Past Guest promo right now that when you book you get automatically upgraded 2 categories, or going up 2 decks.  I am sticking with my inside guarantee and crossing my fingers for a balcony!!  It has happened (to other people) before!  :)

As of yet, Carnival has not followed suit to give us our refunds to the fuel surcharge, BUT supposedly they will come out with an announcement today.  I hope so too, because I would rather spend my $70 on something other than fuel, especially since we booked and paid in full way before they charged us with the fee.  I am thinking I can ...

Hey!  I guess I am not a loner anymore!!  Yippee!  We booked waaaay back in April 2007 for this cruise so the days are just draaaaaging.  But the weather will warm up soon and it will be here before we know it!   Can't wait!

I really hope Carnival comes through for everyone who booked before the charge came about and were slapped with it.  We booked waaaay back in April of last year for our cruise this September.  We paid in full before the fuel charge in November.  I know what an extra $140 means for us!!

Just booked Courtyard Miami Downtown for a great rate pre cruise! So excited. Really wanted HI POM but too pricy for our budget unfortunately. Anyone else stay at Courtyard?
