  • Re: First timer.. Please read!

You will need something warm for several applications - When the ship is moving at night, the deck is windy and can be chilly.  However, because of the vast amount of humidity in the air, the air conditioning has to be on 24/7, and it can get cool indoors in the lounges, dining room, etc.  I wear cashmere sweaters a lot, and am always ...

  • Re: luggage express

Check the Shore Excursions for tours in Miami after you dock, either here online or on the ship.  They usually deliver you and all your luggage to the airport afterward.  They will tell you the timeline of the tour, and what your soonest flight should be in order to accomodate the tour.  The Everglades are fascinating!

  • Re: Debarkation

Yes - the tour was through Carnival Cruises!  If it is not on the Shore Excursions page, it will be offered on the ship, so you can book it when you get on board.  I don't think they have a capacity limit, so no worries trying to get it booked ahead of time.  They may even have other tours offered that also include the ...

  • Here's an Idea for Monkeyheads to Meet on Each Cruise...

Because every Carnival cruise will have many Monkeyheads sailing on it, why don't we establish a "standard" area and time to gather - such as the Pool Bar at sailing time, the day of departure.  Every ship has a main pool bar (or two), but the sailing times differ from port to port. If there is a standard time and place set, ...
