There are public beaches near the ferry pier in PDC and plenty of shopping on the main drag. Other than that, there's not much to do as far as sightseeing in PDC. You might want to reconsider and do the Xcarat Park or possibly another snorkel excursion (or better yet, do the snorkel excursion HERE and do something else in Cozumel).

Yes, the pool AND the hot tub have a swim-up bar (same bar, they're side by side). We snorkeled from shore and it was a real snoozer - much better to spend your time drinking the free margaritas IMO!!
