Ship: Carnival Freedom | Sail Date: 10/04/07 | Destination: Europe

I am taking a group to Europe for the Med. We sail Oct. 4, 2007. I have booked independent air because Carnival was not able to give us as many days prior to the cruise as we wanted in Rome. Our return flight from Rome is scheduled to depart FCO at 10:45am on Oct. 16 (the end of the cruise). Am I going to be able to make it or will we miss our flight? I perhaps am running scared, but we just got off the CCL Spirit in Vancouver yesterday, were escorted to the airport by Carnival (their transfers and their air) and missed our flights because the purser in charge of the transfers did not let us off until 9:00am. I knew when we left the ship, we would not make the flights. Customs and Immigration take way too long, plus it takes about 45 minutes to get to the airport.
