Ship: Sensation | Sail Date: 09/04/08 | Destination: Bahamas

I recently sailed on the Sensation the week-end of 9/4/08 and Carnival did not honor the Vacation Guarantee. They set sail for the Bahamas already knowing we were not going to Nassau and announced it 10 minutes or so into the cruise. Over half of the people on board were extremely upset because they had plans in Nassau for Friday. A preacher did not make it to the wedding; 22 firefighters that go every year to a big party in Nassau the same weekend were not able to go and the list goes on. The quality of the food has gone down since my last cruise and the purser's office employees were inudated with complaints. I will not travel on Carnival again because, they did not offer any compensation for that cruise. In addition, I won at Bingo for the free cruise and 1 other person bingoed after me and they had a 'tiebreaker'. Who has ever played bingo and had a tiebreaker when more than one person bingos. Carival has always been for the last 15 years the only cruise line I used but, not anymore.
