The cruise on the Lengend was out third Carnival cruise and it was a disappointment. The food on the Lido Deck was unpalatable and difficult to maneuver. I wanted fruit, yougurt and cold cereal for breakfast and had to visit all corners of the dinind area to get them. The Lido Deck food was so greasy and overcooked we just ate all our meals in the dining room which had much better tasting selections. The spa and gym were also disappointing. The personnel in the spa said that if you did not purchase an Elemis or La Therapie item on board the ship, the website would forever close you out from purchasing those items. Not true! Noy only can you get anything you want on th website, but you also get the items at a 15% discount. The spa personnel said the treatments were a waste if you did not purchase their products- very hard sell. Some of the tredmills were broken and spa personnel "forgot" to hold schedule lectures and did not reschedule. We missed the port of San Juan due to bad weather (Tropical Storm Chris). There was a lot of grumbling on the boat that there should have been more than a $25 per person refund. On the bright side, our cabin was lovely and the stewards were great. Best of all, we met lovely people with whom we hope to stay in touch.
