Some small issues on Glory but still great time!!

Myself, mother and aunt just returned for our cruise to the Eastern Caribbean on the Glory.

Overall very good. However there were a few issues I would like to mention.

Do not order the steaks they were the worst I have ever had. Mine was all grissley and my mothers was literally black and dried out. I thought maybe it was just our table but when speaking with other passengers this seemed to be what everyone had. One gentleman even said it was like that the year before as well. So stay away from the steak!!

The entertainment in the theatre was lacking. The two lead singers were not very good. I felt like I was at an American Idol audition. The girl was better than the man but not by much. They seemed to think if they sang louder or yelled it out in the microphone it would sound better. All that did was give us a headached and for that reason we ended up only going to three shows. The material of the shows was very amateurish as well. I was expecting big Vegas style shows as that is what they advertise. Unfortunately that is not what they give you. We had been told by several staff not to miss the Rockin Broadway show as it was the best one of the week. It was sad really. They did things like Little Shop of Horrors, Footloose etc. I would have expected better.

The dancers were good but when you are given such cheesy shows it doesn't help them showcase their talent very well.

The service in the dining rooms, bars and of course your cabin stewards was AWESOME!!! I cannot say enough for the ladies and gentlemen as they work like dogs and always have a smile for you. Osnel was our cabin steward and Ikeada was our waiter they were both excellent!!

The pursers desk unfortunately had some ladies with attitude. I wish I knew her name but she is european, blond with bobbed hair..avoid her lol. She was very rude and basically asked my mother is she was stupid and couldn't read when she inquired about a charge on the bill. Which in the end was a mistake by the cruise line so she was entitled to ask about it in the end. Manuel was excellent at the desk so try to deal with him if you can very polite and helpful and he actually smiled.

Overall we had a wonderful time. The ship is beautiful, clean and the food and service is great overall. I would still recommend this ship but not if you are used to cruising with Princess etc. I would say it is a good 4 star accomodation.
