    Excursion question....

I am sailing on my first cruise June 22nd to the So. Carb., very excited and am booking excursions now.  I noticed however that our arrive in dock time and our excursion times are very close, and in one case at the same time.  How do the excursions work?  If we arrive in port at 10 am, and my excursion is set to start at 10am, I would think Carnival wouldn't let me sign up for it if we couldn't make it.  A couple other times are within a half an hour of our arrival in port.

I appreciate any help or suggestions you can give me.

    Thanks,

    Chrisi
